New release of the Field Campaign Guidelines

In the framework of ImagineS, EOLAB conducted a number of field campaigns, in collaboration with local teams, to collect measurements of LAI, FAPAR and FCover in view to use them as reference data for the assessment of the accuracy of the satellite-derived biophysical products. Based upon this experience, some guidelines are set-up, in compliance with the best practices and protocols recommended by the CEOS/LPV group. The document, associated with a template file for the ground database, is available here.

These guidelines have been provided to the JECAM community to help the teams to harmonize their protocol in the measurements of biophysical variables. This should also contribute to strenghen the collaboration with the validation activities conducted in the Copernicus Global Land service.
