3 new in-situ datasets available

In May 2014, EOLAB conducted an intensive field campaign in Las Tiesas experimental farm, in Barrax, in the province of Albacete, in Spain, in collaboration with ITAP. Effective LAI, LAI, FAPAR and FCover were collected with Digital Hemispherical Photographs over various crops like corn, wheat, papaver, alfafa, onion, barley, etc... Landsat-8 image was used to upscale the measurements over a region of 20kmx20km. In addition, autonomous PASTIS-PAR sensors have been installed from April to August. The PASTIS records are still under analysis.

In January 2015, EOLAB conducted another intensive field campaign in San Fernando agricultural site, in Chile, in collaboration with the University of Chile. Effective LAI, LAI, FAPAR and FCover were collected with Digital Hemispherical Photographs over various crops like tobacco, corn, beans, raspeberry, alfafa, etc... FASAT-C image was used to upscale the measurements over a region of 5kmx5km.

EOLAB has also up-scaled the in-situ measurements collected over the Pshenichne agricultural site by the Space Research Institute of the NAS, in the context of JECAM. Two field campaign were conducted in June and July 2014. Effective LAI, LAI, FAPAR and FCover were collected with Digital Hemispherical Photographs over various crops like maize, soybean, barley, oat, sunflower, etc... Landsat-8 images were used to upscale the measurements over a region of 20kmx20km.
